Last week (24th and 25th of April 2018) we attended the AltFuels exhibition in Mexico-City. This is Mexico’s national event concerning gas. This event was held at the Convention Center of the World Trade Center in Mexico City, and organized by GNV Latin Amercia – Altfuels Communications Group, supported by the Mexican Association of Natural Gas.
It featured a congress and an exhibition, considered as a must-attend event for all industry players interested in the market of alternative fuels, such as LPG, LNG, CNG, biogas and dual-fuel. The event showed the progress of different alternative fuels and new sustainable technologies in the transport sector. Prins joined the Westport Fuel Systems stand together with BRC, GFI and OMVL.
Prins demonstrated its newest technologies for light duty, medium duty and heavy duty vehicles. Luis Fernandez gave a presentation about the Diesel Dual Fuel technology for heavy duty vehicles (trucks) at the conference. New at the Prins-stand: a Ford Focus SE 2017 converted to LPG with a Prins VSI-2.0 DI LPG system.
Mexico is a growing market for LPG and CNG. By joining the AltFuels exhibition, Prins is further expanding its market presence.
