CNG Interstate of Oklahoma, LLC is pleased to announce that it has received full EPA Certification for the Prins Bi-Fuel “VSI-2.0 DI” CNG application for the GM 5.3 Liter EcoTec3 L83 Direct Injection engines for the 2014 and 2015 model years. The EPA certification applies to the Chevrolet Silverado, Tahoe, and Suburban, and the GMC Sierra, Yukon, and Yukon XL of the 2014 and 2015 model years offered with the GM 5.3 Liter EcoTec3 L83 Direct Injection engines.
Prins has developed a compressed natural gas (CNG) system based on their VSI-2.0 DI platform for the GM 5.3 Liter EcoTec3 L83 DI engine in cooperation with CNG Interstate of Oklahoma, LLC to offer in the United States market. Prins currently offers the broadest range of Alternative Fuel System applications worldwide and is pleased to add the GM 5.3 Liter EcoTec3 L83 application with the Prins VSI-2.0 DI system on CNG to this list.
